New York’s Prime Evil is Back

It doesn't seem to matter how many years pass, New York's thrash-death metal band Prime Evil, and their music, remains tattooed in the hearts and minds (and on some arms), of many a dedicated metal fan. In August 2010, 4 of the 5 core members of Prime Evil (Andy, Mike, Gary and Todd) began playing songs again and all agreed that the time had come for Prime Evil to reunite. When Mary returned to the fold, the band was once again complete. The band has been rehearsing, writing, and preparing for future shows; all in anticipation of a new studio recording that will resurrect the mixture of brutal thrash metal, raging speed, and intricate riffing that had defined the band's original sound back in the late 1980's, rooting them in underground metal history worldwide.
